Cafe Home: Wallingford

Welcome to Our Bakery

For nearly 18 years, people in the Puget Sound area have brought home our breads to enjoy at their tables. We are so grateful for all the support and partnership over those years. As we look forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones, we invite you to our table.

This blog is a new way for friends and fans to find out what’s happening inside our bakery and get the latest on new products as well as recipes and techniques from our chefs. We also look forward to sharing happenings at our cafes and events in the community, along with news from the food world and stories on the environment and how we can all live a little better.

So please, take a seat and join us for the conversation.

Just discovered the bread from your bakery and it is absolutely wonderful. Can’t get enough. Should be available everywhere.

Love your Mille Grane which I get in Edmonds Farmers Market in summer and PCC in winter. BUT–what is the salt content (new news that bread has most sodium of all bought foods!) And of Olive Bread? Thanks!

      Hi Kay,

First of all, thanks for choosing our breads. One serving of Mille Grane (1.75 oz, about 1/9th of a loaf) contains about 230mg of sodium. For Olive, the sodium content is 260mg for a 1.75oz serving, which is about 1/10th of that loaf.
