Gluten Free Bread Sneak Peek
Drum roll, please! We are very excited to announce that we are in the development stages of some really wonderful gluten free breads, made in a dedicated gluten/dairy/nut free facility. So far we have one variety, a lovely seeded loaf, that you can taste test for a limited time as part of your next meal at our three Seattle cafes.* All we ask is that you fill out a comment card to provide us feedback.
Our gluten free breads are not yet available on grocery store shelves, but we hope to launch the line in late Summer.
Try our seeded gluten free bread on your next sandwich at our Wallingford, Georgetown or Madison cafes.
* Please note that while our gluten free breads are made in a dedicated gluten/dairy/nut free facility, our cafes are not gluten/dairy/nut free. While we strive for best practices in serving gluten free bread, it may come in contact with allergens.
It’s awesome that this article talked about how we’re working on some very great gluten-free bread in a dedicated gluten-free/dairy-free/nut-free factory. I’m glad that you explain it thoroughly and now it makes more sense. You did a great job of explaining gluten-free sourdough.
I never knew that our gluten-free bread is not yet available on grocery store shelves, but we hope to launch the line in late Summer. I have no idea about it but now I think I do, it is really a good article. Thank you for the information about gluten-free bakeries.
Our gluten-free bread is now available in many grocery stores. Check out our store locator to see if there is one near you.
SOOOOOOO excited to try your seeded GF bread! It looks fabulous! Hopefully it works out well for you and you are able to launch it in stores. 🙂
Trish,
Thanks for the enthusiasm, we are really excited about it, too! Stop by one of our cafes for your sneak peek. We are hoping to launch our line of GF breads in early fall – stay tuned.

Are you still trying out the gluten free bread or is it too late to go try it?
Sue,
Thanks for your interest. We are still offering the gluten free breads for taste test in our cafes. We will do an additional post once the test has ended.
Thanks,
Leah
Can you tell me where I can order flour for making french bread? Thank you.
Ikuko,
Many natural markets and food co-ops have great bulk sections where you can find a variety of flours. Some stores may even be able to sell you larger quantities if you plan to do a lot of baking. PCC Natural Markets and Town & Country/Central Markets both have extensive bulk options and would be a good place to start.
Happy baking!
Leah
I would like to have your hot-cross bun recipe. Thank you.
Hi Ikuko,
I’m glad you enjoy our Hot Cross Buns. While we don’t publish our recipes or have a cookbook at this time, you can get our Hot Cross Buns now through April 17. They are a seasonal item that we make each year in the month surrounding Easter.
Thanks,
Leah
