It’s August. 🙂
When will you guys be opening?
Thanks!
Our contractors are working hard to get our new Bellevue Cafe up and running. We think it looks absolutely beautiful so far. If you go inside the Bellevue University Bookstore, you can see how it’s coming along. We are thinking that we may be open by August 24th. We’ll update here shortly.
We just got word that Monday the 27th is our day to open! We look forward to seeing you there. We will keep you posted on up coming events at this location.
I love youroo multi grain bread – which I have not been able to find in Bellevue lately and I’m really upset. So glad you are opening a store – Hopefully I’ll be able to purchase bread by the loaf.
Hi Joan, You will be able to buy our breads directly from our Bellevue Cafe. In Bellevue you can find us at Whole Foods, Safeway, QFC, and Your Local Market. Thanks for letting us know that you are finding it hard to find our multi grain bread. I’ll check with the rest of the team to assure we get more multigrain available.
Yes I’d like 100% whole wheat breads. I thought the george and walnut were 100% at PCC but a closer look at the ingredients list a mix of whole and unbleached wheat. Did this change or do you have other 100% whole wheat breads?
Hi Lili,
We have not changed the recipe of the Pain du George or Whole Wheat Rolls – both made with the same dough or the Walnut Bread.
We use a specially milled flour that has about 25% of the coarsest flakes of bran removed to achieve a lighter texture and flavor. During an FDA inspection last year we were informed that we could not list the ingredient as “organic whole wheat flour”, since some of the bran had been removed, so we had to change the ingredient lists to better represent the product. Hence, we now are required to list both organic unbleached wheat flour and organic whole wheat flour.
